Trend Alert: Sustainable Markets

Welcome to my latest sustainable hyper fixation…sustainable markets!

While my obsession with this eco-conscious trend began at the beautiful Field + Supply Spring Market last May, I couldn't think of a better time to unveil this than with the holidays just around the corner. And guess what? If you're up for a road trip to Kingston, NY, the Field + Supply holiday pop-up shops await you on November 25-26 and December 2-3. Trust me, it's an experience you won't want to miss!

Picture this: a festival-like modern interpretation of traditional arts and crafts fair, yet with a perfect spin of carefully-curated makers highlighting their products. Plus, besides the 200+ unique vendors, there is live music and delicious eats!

Here are some images from the Spring Market I attended in May:

Besides the scenic view of the Hudson River, you may ask…Why should I hop on the sustainable marketplace bandwagon?

Well, by supporting sustainable practices, you're not just making a purchase; you're sending a powerful message. You’re encouraging businesses to adopt and promote sustainable practices, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility within industries.

These markets are vibrant hubs featuring the craftsmanship of local artisans and the stories behind each product. It's a melting pot of people who, like you, appreciate sustainability. When you dive into these events, you're not just shopping; you're joining a community of like-minded souls who believe in the power of ethical consumerism.

Consider this – your choice to participate or support isn't just a transaction; it's a statement. It's about standing together and declaring, "We care about the planet, and we're making choices that reflect that." 🌿✨

Not sure that Field + Supply is for you? Well, don’t worry, there are many more options that allow you to still take advantage of this trend. For your convenience, I’ve curated a short list below. They are even online!

  • Field + Supply (online!—if you’re not able to make the in-person event)

  • Uncommon Goods

  • Thrive Market

  • GOODEE

  • EarthHero

So, dive into the world of sustainable markets – an experience that not only offers unique products but also makes a positive impact on our planet. ✨🌍

And stay tuned for some curated holiday and Black Friday sustainable wish lists! I’m so excited to share my finds!
