The Result: Chloe’s Clothing Swap!
Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to report on the clothing swap that I hosted last week!
It was a complete success! People brought BAGS of clothes and found amazing pieces to bring home. It was so fulfilling to carry out an event like this at my home and to introduce a more sustainable way of shopping for those in and around my town. I do have to admit that even I couldn’t resist some of the clothes that were brought and had to pick up a few pieces myself! I have attached pictures below that show you just how many clothes and accessories we had.

I also was incredibly grateful to raise money for Re/Make, the nonprofit organization I chose to donate to. I have been in touch with them and it is so rewarding to get involved with a cause that aligns perfectly to my values. I am an avid supporter of transparency and accountability in the fashion industry, (as evidenced by this blog!) so it was the best feeling to make even a small impact.
The leftover pieces I had after the swap have all been donated to provide those that need it most with clothes and accessories.
Overall, it was an absolute SUCCESS and I totally would love to do it again. This is such a simple and fun way to make a small difference in your community so I urge you to join the movement and hold your very own swaps! I will be back to rating brands now, but I’m so excited that I’ve had the opportunity to share this experience with you guys. Here are the pics!!!
